Crazy colourful cute!!!!

Yoko D'Holbachie is a Japanese painter, born in Yokohama and working in Tokyo. Her art is a perfect mix of western pop surrealism and “traditional” kawaii characters, in a psychedelic palette of colors.
In her creatures you can feel the inspiration coming from one of her favourite artists: Jim Woodring, from a japanese point of view.

Wow.............. Koralie & Supakitch

One of my all time favourite favourite artists.............. wow, this clip i had trouble uploading but it's a peice she is creating with her partner who is called supakitch............ am soooooooooooo inspired by her work!!

Fun online retail therapy! I LOVE BOOKS!

The Crafty Kid shows just how easy it is to make irresistible items both for and with children, from recycled or inexpensive materials. Written especially for those who want to hand-make their own beautiful gifts, and to help steep children in the creative life from an early age onwards, The Crafty Kid is full of fun, simple ideas for rainy day entertainment and passes on the sensible adage: make do and mend.

EVERFRESH STUDIO

The group known as Everfresh—artists Sync, Phibs, Reka, Rone, Wonderlust, Prizm, Meggs, Makatron and The Tooth—create works which fuse intense colour, intricate line work, iconic characters and visual narratives, using the most diverse street art and graffiti techniques. The Everfresh crew are the key players that continue to shape Melbourne’s dynamic and prolific
street-art scene.

Everfresh Studio is an explosive hub of creation and activity, inconspicuously located in Melbourne’s inner-city suburb of Collingwood. Behind an unmarked factory door, Everfresh artists conceive, develop and collaborate to produce their now internationally renowned work for the streets, as well as fine art for exhibition in galleries and to furnish the art market’s growing appetite for street art

Street art, paste ups and lots of colourful dots!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE street art of any kind........... love seeing colourful graff on trains, not so keen on those lil ugly tags but big bold peices of random art, things glued to the street, walls, little alley ways with awesome art that maybe there one week, gone the next, so i like to snap a piccie while it's still there! These are from St Peters/Enmore in Sydney.

More crafty fun with little Miss Scarlette.

We had a day alone to make craft, watch movies, eat popcorn, get some new winter clothes, just a mummy daughter day, ........... we painted some funky wooden letter to make her own room sparkly.

Apple picking.

Finally we went apple picking this year for our first time, it was a lovely stop off on our way to the Ironfest at Lithgow, we stopped off at Bilpin and met farmer Bill, and we could walk through the orchard and pick our own, eat what you want and they aren't sprayed with any nasty chemicals. fun for the whole family. We made a yummi apple crumble, and will make some fresh baby food for Sylus.

My little crafty girl!

Scarlette Rose has taken a big interest to craft, so i've encouraged all sorts of things to play with and see how she creates her own peices of artwork, i was a total indoor crafty kid who hated sports but wasn't sure how much a child can follow in their parents footsteps and know she could also play outside all day long........... who knows what the future may bring for my lil girl ........................

I don't ever want us to let go

of each other.

Maybe our paths will go

in separate directions,

but that won't change the bond

we share and what's in our hearts.

No matter where I am

or what I am doing,

when you come to mind

a smile comes to my face

and a warmth settles in my heart.

Tha day you and I met

will always be cherished.

we've grown together,

done a lot together,

and no matter what,

we will let each other know

that we do like and care

about each other.

You are more than

just a friend to me.

I often struggle to say how I feel,

but I hope we never let go

of what we share,

because whether it's across the miles

or just a short distance,

you are and will always be

a part of my life and me
