Happy Diwali...........
Also called the festival of lights, Diwali is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in India. Diwali or Deepavali is an occasion which is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in most parts of the country. The day of Diwali witnesses celebrations of the highest magnitude as the entire country is lit with beautiful lights and lot of fireworks are used to celebrate Diwali, a victory of light over darkness. Diwali is also an important Hindu festival where Goddess Lakshmi (Wealth Goddess) is worshiped. For this very reason Diwali is also known as a festival of wealth and prosperity. Our little girls room X.x
These are some piccies of my little Miss Scarlette Rose's room, we are so soooooooo lucky be able to paint our rental home, and we made her space a playful bright (very girly) room that she will want to hang out in, the flags are a mix of tie dyed cotton and star prints made really cheap and framed some gorgeous cards that had really sweet positive messages that are nice reminders to read!! We decorated her room when her baby brother Sylus was born to also welcome the change in our home and family! So far so good!! yeahhhh!!! X.x

Colourful tram shed!
Awesome day out, found some peices by some artist's i like, phibs........
Below info is taken from the Harold Park website.............
Built in 1904 and once the second biggest depot in Sydney, the tram sheds housed up to 200 trams, servicing Glebe Point, Leichhardt and Balmain until 1958.
Ownership of the tram sheds was transferred to the NSW Harness Racing Club in 2002.
The tram sheds are heritage listed under the Leichhardt LEP, 2000.
The Club has made a number of attempts to restore and refurbish the tram sheds over the past few years as a multipurpose site but each attempt has been rejected by either Leichhardt or Sydney City Council.
Cost estimates for restoring and refurbishing the tram sheds range between $20-35 million.
There are 5 remaining trams inside the sheds. These have been offered to various organisations but to date no one has accepted responsibility for their removal.
Current zoning prevents use of the tram sheds for anything other than recreational activities.

NEW eco friendly craft!!!!
New eco friendly craft for the kids, i have bought a few wonderful toys from www.ecotoys.com.au and love their online store! I haven't tried these yet (they just arrived at our door) but wanted to share this info with you on my blog, we are so lucky to have many more options for our children! X.x
Eco art pads are made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials and agricultural waste.
This “treeless” paper is made from the discarded stalks of banana trees , otherwise known as pinzotes, which would otherwise been discarded into a garbage dump.
This is a safe and eco-friendly way to encourage your little ones to get in touch with their natural creativity!
Glob paints are 100% natural, plant based paints that are simply gorgeous and come in sachets of 6 different colours; Lemon, Verbena, Tangerine, Pomegranate, Plum, Purple, Berry Blue and Basil Green!
Simply mix with water and you have beautiful, naturally scented (just like the plant it is made from!), vibrant paints that your child can safely use.
The world's first botanical paints, these paints are great for finger painting, crafts or for even using to colour playdough!
Created with a focus on sustainability, these water-based paints and pigments are biodegradable, gluten-free, soy-free and free of chemicals that are commonly used in children's paints such as parabens, petroleum and synthetic preservatives.
