Scarlette being a clown!
This girl just makes us smile........................ most days, hahahaaa, you have your moments fairy girl but you decided this day you wanted to wear the rainbow clown wig to the shops to make people laugh! Good on ya!!! As your father said, isn't it great when you don't care what others think and do what you want! You certainly made everyone smile and laugh, walking up the main busy road, the bus, the bank, the office, yep, you didn't take it off!! We love you for being you chooky, don't ever change a thing!! X.x
Sylus gets his first hair cut!
Yep................. first hair cut and it's a home job done but his mother, hahahaaa, poor kiddo, sorry dude, it was the best i could do with really sharp sewing scissors and you not being able to sit still for 2 seconds, well a bit longer with that lolly pop but................. next hair cut will be better i promise! thanks for being such a rad little boy, you make us laugh so much!!......... and hey, every kids should get atleast one bowl style hair doo, it's part n parcel of your childhood!!! hahahaaa, revenge is sweet for those horrible sleepless nights!! Xx.
The kids little rainbow shop!
This was inspired from a really basic design from Scar's pre-school that was used for all sorts of things that the children created and we thought we could up-cycle the fence pailings that kept falling down around the side of our house. We already had the small drawers and the baskets were a bargin at Kmart and so some days it's a shops, a cafe, sy sits on it, hehehee, so it's basically up to the kids and what they choose but some night times i like to set up a play area and they are set for the day!
We live in a rental home that is proposed to be developed so the fence is falling down and we thought we could also take this creation with us to the next home we create! X.x
August crafts and pre school.
Some more crafts from pre school, a little bag of rose pot pouri, Scarlette said she crushed it up in her hands, and there is a painting of a tree and they picked some wattle to look at and paint and the cute little ball of wool is "wooly" the sheep from school.

Wintersun @ Coffs Harbour 2012
Our first proper family holiday away as a family of 4, it was lovely, also challenging having kids in the car so the drive up and back took longer than planned, but hey, that's what it's all about, the adventures that go with the flow and keeping parents and kids sane, heheee........... so we stayed in a cute lil self contained cottage, just as we got there our car battery died so thanks for NRMA, so lucky we made it to our place of rest. Wintersun fest was cool, rad old cars, rockabilly rock n roll music and dancing, the big banana, getting to swim with a dolphin, tick off the bucket list, yeaaahhh! fish n chips, hanging out and chillaxing with the kiddies!!

LETTING BOYS BE BOYS!!
I love seeing my children play with dirt, Sylus thinks it's brown sand so like to throw it but to see his face smile when i let him get dirty and feel the texture of it in his hands, i am also lucky Scarlette is super happy outdoors girl too and nothing beats a fun clean bubble bath after the day has ended, no one hurt, so much happiness gained!! I say go for it kiddies!!!
Lantern time!
Scarlette has been really enjoying the indoor winter crafts and at the same time at home we made paper lanterns using colourful patterned japanese paper at school they made lanterns to hold for the spiral walk every year at winter time, unfortunately we missed it due to the snotty colds we had but so magickal to see them lit up shinning!!!
Winter warmth
Scarlette made a really sweet wombat out of clay and a yummi carrot for him, a little purple felt gnome and a painting of the gnome, and a really beautiful tea light candle holder with crystals pushed into the clay on the outside of it! it's such a delight to see her so excited running out of class to show off what she has made that day!
