Our little holiday to Bathurst before it got too cold, back in April 2013

A short drive to Uncle Bob and Auntie Norma's property, bikes, yabbing catching, toasting marshmellows, bbq, watching the sun go down, star watching at night, so clear that the kids were so excited, stunning weather during the day but chilli at night!! Kids had a great time!

So this what i've been working on during the cold chilly months.

Lots of fun, bright and positive art prints filled with loads of colours and affirmations to cheer you up and feel wonderful. Sometimes it can just be a small thing you read or a piece of art you connect with to make you feel warm and fuzzy so these prints are designed for all ages to bring a smile to your days........... Indoor winter time

Some days in winter are just perfect for sleeping in, warm porridge, lots of cuppa's, hot chocolates, soups and playing together inside, building cubby houses out of fabric like we did as kids! Scarlette created her own little artist paint board after seeing mine which i thought was rather sweet, after painting so much and the process of my new prints coming together i didn't realise how much the kids do watch the arty/crafty stuff i do everyday! I wonder and think about what they will discover as they grow, will they become artist? or something far from this, am excited to watch them find their own joy!! X.x

Mothers Day 2013

Mothers Day was a really lovely treat this year, sometimes it can be a little busy having to visit family and see both our Mums but we decided to have our own little family together for the weekend!........ the Saturday lunch time we went to the lorien novalis markets and then we took a trip into Marrickville to see the cafe racer bikes at Vic on the park and see some fun rockabilly bands during the day, play in the park with mates.

Saturday night was a very special mothers day eve yoga and meditation session which was really needed to switch off and relax!

........................and Sunday morning sleep in with a cuppa in bed, and some gorgeous hand made gifts from the kids, now i understanding the joy gifts being hand made for me with love, all those years we gave our mum the most random things and now it's my turn, i love them all.

Scarlette made such a sweet wooden beaded necklace with a felt heart and a card where she signed her name with lovely curly spirals.......... watching her creative self come alive! and 2 cute little flower pot photo frames of the kids, so adorable that i've popped them up on the shelf in my workspace/office!

Hubby Stu even surprised me with a fun art tattoo book, that was a very well loved surprise, THANK YOU my beautiful family, you made this year really special!! oohhh, and a late lunch trip to our favorite local cafe The Baron, followed in the eve by a dinner with big Grandma and a catch up with little Grandma 2 weeks later! super happy Mumma!!! X.x

NEW soft toys

Very excited to make some new soft toys for little ones, i have sourced some fantastic bio degradable corn filling that is fluffy & soft but so safe!! yeahh, happy dance!!!

So here is the first toy, i have drawn and had the fabric printed using organic cotton!!
