Please stop growing so fast!!!

Wow, this year is only the begining and already going way to fast!!

Scarlette Rose has been at her new pre school at the local steiner school for a few weeks now and LOVING it, so are we, what a welcoming friendly community and school, everyone smiles and says hello and there are so many adorable colourful children running around so happy, it's such an amazing feeling when life feels right and things are flowing in such a positive healthy direction! and to celabrate her birthday they gave her a felt star, gold crown and a cake, as a mum knowing how loved and nurtured these children are is such blessing!

My baby boy Sylus Wolfe is walking, no balancing on things, just standing straight up in the middle of the room and off he goes, he was so keen to run after his sister, cousin and lil mates at family daycare, there's no stopping him now, such a happy lil man he can get around now!!

Slow down kids, mum wants you to stay little a bit longer, heheee!

I love you both to the moon and back and you know it!!!

Wooden toy window display at Flying Penguin Newtown

Scarlette Rose Fairy aka, me Ema Lou had such a fun time making this window display for the gorgeous toy shop called Flying Penguin in Newtown, Sydney.

So lucky to have the opportunity to do this, thanks ladies!! X.x

The shop has such a magickal variety of eco friendly kids toys that give parents, friends, relatives peace of mind when buyiing gifts for children, the ladies who own the shop are so helpful with any questions you may have! Ask for Vicki & Jacki.

The window display was launched for the Sydney gay & lesbian Mardi gras so we made lots of rainbows and the cute little marching rainbow parade of wooden gnomes you can see down the bottom.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Welcome 2012 goodbye 2011

I'm a bit behind the new year but wanted to share the chalk drawings out the front of our house that our gorgeous neighbour and i did!! We thought if we write our intentions out onto concrete it will be clear of what we would like for the new year............ so far so good!!

This one's a newbie, just made it to see how it looked and Scarlette has claimed it for herself, am also making a huge one with 12 colours, so i'll add the piccie here too! Lots of rainbow fun!!

Christmas 2011.

Christmas 2011, Scarlette is almost 4 so seeing Santa was very exciting and smiled lots and Sy cracked it when he had his Santa photo so that's pretty normal, hahaa, and Scar got her Santa pressie, a pink scooter and Sy just played with all mountains of wrapping paper! pretty normal huh for those ages too, it's always a big day for the kiddies! X.x

Sylus turns one!

Our little man turned 1 on the 27th Novemeber 2011, thank you to all our family and friends who were there through the good and bad during the first year, we couldn't have made it through without you!!! Sy Sy is such a happy, giggly, flirty baby boy who makes us smile so much!! We love you so much! X.x

Our tiny little handprints and footprints.

I've put these frames up in my kitchen for all to see and we look at the every day, i also have my childrens footprint and handprint tattooed on my arm to always remind me of them at that age and how quickly they grow! We are so blessed to have such a sweet mumma who is also our neighbour that runs a cute family daycare where Sylus & Scar get lots of love,cuddles & giggles while i cut up my wooden toys and dye lots of fabric, for our christmas gift she popped in a little verse and their artwork they did with her that is so special that i wanted to share it here...........

Sometimes you get discouraged because i am so small

and always leaving fingerprints on furniture and walls

But everyday i'm growing I'll be grown some day

and all those tiny handprints will surely fade away

So here's a little handprint just so you can recall

exactly how my fingers looked when i was very small.

Next market day,...... we will be having a stall!!!

Little reminders............

Happy Diwali...........

Also called the festival of lights, Diwali is one of the most popular festivals celebrated in India. Diwali or Deepavali is an occasion which is celebrated with lot of enthusiasm in most parts of the country. The day of Diwali witnesses celebrations of the highest magnitude as the entire country is lit with beautiful lights and lot of fireworks are used to celebrate Diwali, a victory of light over darkness. Diwali is also an important Hindu festival where Goddess Lakshmi (Wealth Goddess) is worshiped. For this very reason Diwali is also known as a festival of wealth and prosperity. The festival of Diwali in India brings in lot of excitement across all the sections of society irrespective of their socio-economic background.

Scarlette & i went to a local festival that was celebrating called Parramasala, i just love the bright colours,clothing & music..........

10months.........

My lil boy Sylus Wolfe isn't so little anymore and crawling around....... we have been super busy here making heaps of new stuff for spring and summer so hopefully i will get some time to update my blog more often! X.x

Scarlette & i recently had our visit and relaxed interview to attend our local steiner school and we recieved our letter in the mail to let us know us now we have been accepted to start pre school next year!!! So happy, it's such a beautiful and magickal place to be and it feels so right.............. life and our little family is blooming and welcoming new changes as the spring weather unfolds!
